Golden Sunshine for GUBC at Scottish Championships

Gold medals were distributed across Glasgow University Boat Club at the Scottish Rowing Championships

MOTHERWELL – There was plenty of glory for GUBC at the Scottish Championships at Strathclyde Country Park this weekend.

One highlight came in the Women’s Intermediate 4+ where GUBC secured a one-two finish. Other success came in the Open Novice 8+ where GUBC won with a mixed-gender crew and in the Open Novice 4+ where the men won silver.

In the Senior Squad, silver medals in the Open Pair with good performances in the Women’s Pair will set them in good stead for potential Team Scotland selections at the Home International Rowing Regatta this summer.
