Glasgow University Boat Club Narrowly Miss Out on Top 50 Placing
LONDON – The trip to London for the Women’s Eights Head of the River was a high quality one for GUBC as the squad were able to test themselves against the best of the country.
The ‘A’ eight racing included a number of development athletes finished 51st overall, 13th of the University Crews. This positioning shows real promise while still allowing the athletes to take part in the Development category at Henley Women’s Regatta.
The ‘B’ crew also put up an impressive performance, finishing 5th in the Beginner academic Category, a strong step on from BUCS Head.
